If a Master technician knew one vehicle inside and out, he had an excellent chance of diagnosing and repairing just about any other vehicle. Those days, however, are long gone. This goes a long way when compared to dealership technicians often plucked right out of school and trained strictly on the curriculum of the programs they studied lacking the depth and breadth of knowledge that comes with decades of experience. .
